You’re taking a very narrow sample of the quality that both of these companies generally output. The iPhone is worlds above comparable Microsoft phones (yes, I’ve seen your phone, some other MS phones AND the iPhone) – the iPhone is clearly better.

I can understand having reservations against Apple because they only use their own hardware (though it’s easy to see the reasoning behind that), but in the case of a phone or other custom device, there’s no reason to try and paint a picture of Microsoft as being better. Apple just knows how to make something that works the way it should. That is the trend.
